It's called Steadi. Boaters just call it the boat cup holder.

You're going to assume this is edited.

It isn't. Same take, no cuts. 22-foot pontoon, real chop, full drink.

16:9 WAKE_PROOF_16x9

Six places on your boat that need a cup holder.

Most boaters get four →

Your boat has eight seats and two cup holders.

And the two it has are never where anyone's sitting.

So drinks end up on the floor, on the cushion, wedged in a corner, or in somebody's hand for four hours. Then someone stands up, the boat rocks, and a full drink goes over — into the carpet, down the seat seam, or straight into the lake.

It's not a disaster. It's just the same small annoyance, every single trip.

It fits what you actually bring on the boat.

16:9COMPAT_LINEUP_16x9
  • 12 oz cans
  • 16 oz tallboys and seltzers
  • Cans in a koozie
  • 20 and 30 oz tumblers (Yeti, Stanley, RTIC)
  • Water bottles
  • Solo cups and plastic cups
  • Wine tumblers and stemless glasses
  • Kids' cups and juice boxes

Doesn't fit: growlers, wide-mouth bottles over 3.6", or stemmed glassware.

We tested it in conditions you'd probably turn around in.

It holds through wakes, chop, rocking, and people climbing over you to get to the cooler.

Straight talk: an empty aluminum can at 30 mph is still an empty aluminum can. Steadi holds your drink upright — it isn't a seatbelt. Secure your empties like you always have.

One customer put it better than we did: "Hold up nicely in the wind when my can is almost empty." — Wendy Corlett

You don't need better cup holders. You need one where you're sitting.

Brilliant idea. These are great on the boat!! Hold up nicely in the wind when my can is almost empty.

My friends love the Steadis. Their motorboat had no place for drinks, and no flat surfaces!

We have a couple of these and we absolutely love them! They have prevented many spills and saved many drinks from being spilled over from a very active toddler knocking into them. It's so nice to use them on our boat and not have to worry about spills and can leave drinks out worry free!

This is such a fantastic idea that is very well done. We have a deep couch and 3 dogs who love to jump on it. I have tried so many trays and holders, and none of them have worked. But with my Steadi, Ican lay back on the lounger part, have my drink in arms reach, and not worry about the dogs knocking it over. My husband was skeptical, but even he is now impressed. This thing is GREAT!

Very pleased with this. Feels premium and sturdy, and nice to look at when in use. As someone who once spilled a can of cola on the bed, I now confidently place my soda can on the bed without worry!

These things are awesome! I drink more Diet Pepsi than I care to admit. And my wife likes to fill my end tables with little knickknacks or pictures so I usually drink from the small plastic bottles that I can close and have them lay on the couch beside me. Now I go for the cheaper cans! My son even thought it was a good idea. But he likes to stick his McDonald's soda cup in there. It still works, so we'll see how that goes.

Love this item!! Bought for my six year old who constantly tips things over. It works like a charm, not only does it hold a can it holds a plastic cup. No spills since purchase. Thank you

There's nothing to it.

  1. Set it down.

Any flat-ish surface. Cushion, deck, floor, cooler.

  2. Put your drink in it.

Cans and bottles slide on. Cups and tumblers drop in from the top.

  3. That's it.

Rinse it off and use it again next weekend.

Made in Orange, California. Not overseas.

Steadi is designed and manufactured in Orange County, California, by a small veteran-founded company. The material is UV-stable, marine-friendly silicone and TPU — it won't get brittle in the sun, it won't stain your seats, and it won't crack after one season.

Patent pending. If it doesn't hold up, we'll replace it.

Questions boaters ask.

Will it work on my boat?
If you have a flat surface, yes. Cushions, decks, vinyl seats, cooler lids, carpeted floors, fiberglass. It works better on flat surfaces than on steeply curved ones.
Does it slide?
No. The base grips vinyl, fiberglass, carpet, and wood. It grips better on a slightly damp surface than a dry one.
What about when we're moving?
It holds a drink upright through wakes and chop at cruising speed. An empty can at high speed can still catch wind — secure your empties.
Will it fit my Yeti?
Yes — 20 and 30 oz Ramblers, Stanleys, and RTICs all fit.
Will it damage or stain my seats?
No. The silicone is non-marking and non-staining, and it won't hold moisture against your upholstery.
Does the sun wreck it?
It's UV-stable. It's made to live on a boat.
How many should I get?
Most boaters get four. One for the bow, one for the stern, one for the captain, and one for whoever's standing.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it, or run it through the dishwasher.
