The short version.

We collect what we need to send you the thing you bought and to know whether our advertising works. We don't sell your information. We never have and we won't.

What we collect when you order:

• Name, shipping address, email, and phone number if you provide it
• What you ordered
• Payment confirmation — we never see or store your full card number. Payment is processed by Shopify and its payment providers.

What we collect automatically when you visit:

• Standard web analytics: pages viewed, how long, what device, roughly where you are by region
• Advertising identifiers, if you arrived from an ad, so we can tell which ads work

What we use it for:

• Shipping your order and answering your emails
• Sending order updates
• Sending marketing email, but only if you opted in
• Measuring advertising

Who we share it with:

• Shopify — our store and payment platform
• Shipping carriers — they need the address
• Meta, Google, and similar advertising platforms — for measuring ad performance
• Email platform — if you signed up for email

That's the list. We don't sell data to brokers and we don't share your information with anyone who isn't directly helping us run the business.

Cookies.

The site uses cookies for basic function, analytics, and advertising measurement. You can block them in your browser; the site will still work.

Marketing email.

Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately.

Your rights.

Email help@theboatcupholder.com and we'll:

• Tell you what we have about you
• Correct anything wrong
• Delete it, unless we're legally required to keep order records

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion. Same email, same process, and we won't treat you differently for asking.

Children.

This site isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes.

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top.
